A major project entrusted by a world-renowned institution. McGill University selected QMD to transform a dilapidated downtown hotel into a student residence tailored to the specific needs of its tenants. The 180 apartments spread over 26 floors have been entirely renovated.

One hotel, three mandates. QMD has been entrusted with the complete renovation of this 148-room hotel, in a historic building in downtownMontreal. Subsequently, the consortium redesigned the restaurant and renovated three of its luxury suites, totalling 24,200 sq ft with a ceiling height of sixteen feet.

QMD has done many major renovations at the Bell Centre over the past few years, most recently, the construction surrounding the centennial celebrations of the Canadiens hockey team. Large in scale, this project totalled over 1,000,000 sq ft and included complex coordination and security requirements, such as access control of all workers.

Set on a coveted location bathed in natural light on Nun’s Island,Quebec, the Symphonia POP extends the original neighbouring tower with its curvaceous garden-side design. 

Blending into a paradise of water and greenery, the community provides its residents incredible views of the Saint Lawrence River, the golf course and Montreal’s stunning skyline.

Each zone is an avenue, named according to its unique vocation. For example, Fashion Avenue where one can find the latest styles, Market Avenue for the freshest groceries, Leisure Avenue for active living, and a fourth concept to be revealed shortly.
